Phone On Plane

The EU approved rules on the use of mobiles on planes, and countries have 6 months to make them take effect in law. One of the new rules is that we can talk by phone while the airplane is below 3,000 meters.
The rules leave it to each airline the way they are allowed to use the phone. The EU is responsible for establishing rules more technical level, always in the interest of safety. Among other rules, the captain will be granted the authority to disconnect calls, if deemed necessary for safety reasons.
It is possible that the price of calls in flight is concerned, but depends on the legislation of each country to respect.
